此类丑闻爆光后, 其中负主要责任的公司老板以自杀逃避法律责任. 另外相关政府人员被革职, 对制售腐败肉类不法厂商的罚款也从2万欧元提高到5万欧元.
尽管德国政府对此做出了一些措施, 鼓励企业和个人向政府举报那些提供腐败的或其它有损健康的肉类制品的厂家。但这些措施的力度还不够, 质量把关制度还不够严格. 仅几万欧元罚款根本不足以杜绝此类事件的再发生. 罚款事小, 而且不是目的. 真正的目的是要使这些人的良心受到谴责, 向消费者和社会忏悔.保证此类事件的再发生. 难道这些企业和他们的家人不购买肉食品吗? 他们吃了这些腐败变质的肉食, 会有什么感觉?
Workers who used to work for these factories reported that the color of foul meat were green, it’s so stinking that they were not able to approach it, not to work with it. Some foul meat were even 4 years longer than expiry date.
After such affairs were brought into the light, some responsible person have committed suicide in order to evade legal responsibility. Besides, some governors were demoted or dismissed. The fine was increase from 20.000 Euros to 50.000Euros.
Although there are some measurement and policy being made to encourage people and enterprises to report such companies or factories that rework with foul meat or harmful food, obviously these measurement are not hard and strict enough. A couple of ten thousand of Euros can not prevent such affairs happen. Fine if fine, but it is not the aim. The aim is to make these people feel guilty and confess not to let these happen again. What would their families feel when they buy and eat such foul meat? What would they do?
