Alongside the rapid development of China’s economy, China has driven the world attention. EU, particularly Germany has been setting a high value on the trade with China, although there are still some German politicians intent to block to offer construction funds to China (so called construction funds, in fact it’s the loans with high interests); again and again, without taking the China-Germany friendly relationship into account, some politicians meet democrats who have contrary political views against China. Luckily not all German have prejudice about China.
German Foreign Affair Minister Steinmeier criticized the German Chancellor Angela Merkel for having met Dalai Lama at the residence of the Chancellor that caused the relationship with China in a deep crisis. Recently, German Patent and Trademark Officer Schade affirmed China’s present economic situation and the efforts of protection of intellectual property. He pointed out that China’s current legal system is not perfect, Germany hopes that China could improve the existing laws and regulations and implement smoothly. He was confident that creative plagiarism in China will be no longer a topic in 10 years. China’s own research and development work of high-tech products will also be carried out. He also stated the facts which are being forgotten: “Looking back on history, we can easily find, product plagiarism almost accompanied by the entire history of industrial development. 30 years ago, Japan is the world’s leading champion of counterfeiting, today this label has been pick off. The same to Germany in the 19th century. At that time, Germany liked to copy advanced British technology, even in the mid-19th century, the British forced the Germans to put “made in Germany” label on German’s own products. Unexpectedly in the end of the 19th century, ‘made in Germany ‘ has become a synonym of best quality. ”
Hopefully ‘made in China’ would also be a synonym for quality in the next few decades!
