“Today is my 95th birthday and my stingy grandson gave me a “Blog” as a birthday present.” Said granny María Amelia Lopez with joy, the oldest blogger of the world.
Since last December granny María Amelia started using her blog http://amis95.blogspot.com and expected some elder visitors at her age. Until now, over hundreds of thousands bloggers have become her loyal fans within a couple of months. She writes about her youth, hometown, love and her true life. She also writes her experience in the Spanish civil war. Fotunately granny María Amelia doesn’t immerse herself only in the past; she is also very interested in Spanish politics and travelling. Shortly she travelled to Brasil and danced with a Samba-dancer under a palm tree.
Although granny María Amelia doesn’t write by herself, she talks on the microphone and asks her grandson to type it later. She also replies questions of bloggers.
Maria Amelia enjoys blogging because of making new connections: “I was alone before, many people write to me now and I answer all of them. The web is amusing and I learn such things about which I hadn’t vague idea. I can talk to the whole Universe.”
Congratulations, granny María Amelia. Enjoy your life with blogging.
