幸运饼 – Fortune Cookie – Glückskeks

第一次看见并品尝到幸运饼还是在国外. 一次和几个好朋友去一家中餐馆儿聚餐,待我们结帐时, 服务员送给每人一个小礼物. 打开红色小包装, 里面有一个呈贝壳型的面制食品, 微甜, 松脆, 类似空心饼干的小点心. 掰开小点心会有一张小纸条儿, 上写着各种祝福或预言, 这就是流行于欧美和东南亚许多国家的幸运饼.据说幸运饼是由生活在San Francisco的一位开茶庄的日本人Makoto Hagiwara 1909年发明的.还有人说是由一位移居在旧金山的华人David Jung 1918 年发明的. 究竟谁是幸运饼的真正发明者, 其实并不重要, 重要的是幸运饼经过了近一个多世纪, 一直很受人们的喜爱, 因为它把祝福带给大家. 近年来幸运饼也相继进入中国内地, 大受国内餐馆儿饭店的青睐.

世界上有多种野蛮的运动项目, 最残忍的当数西班牙斗牛表演. 在这项残忍的人与兽, 生与死的较量中, 受伤的, 乃至残死的不仅仅是人, 还有被用来取悦那些疯狂的观看者̀, 最后又被活活地刺死的可怜的斗牛.
西班牙斗牛起源于西班牙古代宗教活动, 也就是杀牛供神祭品. 而真正的斗牛表演则是18世纪中叶. 最初只是西班牙贵族显示勇气的运动项目, 自1743年第一个永久性斗牛场的修建, 西班牙各地相继出现了众多的斗牛场, 这项活动也随之演变成了一项民间性的斗牛表演. 每年的三月至十一月是西班牙斗牛节．每逢此节，世界各地斗牛的狂热者蜂拥而至, 来此寻求刺激.

猪年“猪„运 – Squeaky the lucky piglet

8月11号,一头刚刚出生的小猪崽儿死里逃生, 不但逃离了被屠宰的厄运, 而且还被幸运地送到了英国皇家动物保护区, 从此开始了无忧无虑的生活, 而且还有了一个可爱动听的昵称: Squeaky.三天前, 英国一头将被运送至屠宰场的猪妈妈途中卡车上意外地产下小猪崽儿. 其中一只不甚从行进的卡车上滚落了下来, 掉在了马路中央, 险些在川流不息的车辆中丧生. 这就是大难不死, 必有后福的Squeaky. Squeaky从卡车上摔下时, 伤痕累累, 全身粘糊糊的, 肚子上还留用脐带. 一辆行驶的汽车发现了Squeaky, 将这只刚刚出生才一个多小时的小猪崽儿抱起并送到了动物保护区.
现在, 这只可爱的小猪崽儿不但受到伺养员的精心照料, 而且还成了全英国最受宠的猪宝宝了.
