近年来国内各大企业, 政府机关已及大专院校等相继在欧洲举办海外留学生招聘会, 旨在鼓励留学生学成回国. 除了诱人的住房条件,子女上学和 家属工作安排外, 招聘会主办方还对有意回国进行科学研究的留学生们提供了足够的自由和空间. 这在相当一部分留学生心中荡起了千层的浪花. 目前国内经济发展迅速, 国民生产总值直逼美国, 德国; 国内外汇储备已大大超过日本. 国人的平均生活水平并不比一些发达国家低. 可真要下决心放弃国外现有的一切, 毅然回国, 却并不是一件容易的事.有人说过: 曾经最正确的决定是出国; 最后悔的也是出国. 踏上了出国留学这条充满荆棘的路很难再回头, 就象摇曳在大海之中的一叶小舟, 尽管前方很渺茫, 或许会有狂风暴雨, 却没有别的选择, 只有向前. 可以说几乎所有留学生们的生活都很不容易, 除了语言关, 考试关, 还要为生存奔波. 毕了业为找到一个理想的工作还要经受比当地学生多几倍的坎坷, 因为不是所有的用人单位都愿意录用外国人. 经历了这一切之后, 留学生们的努力没有白费, 满意的工作, 理想的家庭, 舒适的生活, 一切的一切, 都来之不易. 青春, 爱情已及各自的酸甜苦辣都留在了国外, 放弃这一切, 没有平和的心态, 很难迈出这一步.
的确很难, 但并不是不可能. 尽管自己目前还没有勇气迈出这一步, 但非常佩服那些放弃国外拥有的一切, 毅然决然地回国的留学生们. 无论他们回国的目的如何, 能做出回国的决定, 就值得敬佩.

Go or Stay?
In the last few years many domestic enterprises, government organisations and educational institutes and Universities have successively held overseas students recruiting events, in order to encourage students go back to China after they have finished their studies abroad. Apart from the attractive housing conditions, the schooling of their children and family arrangements, the recruiting event holders also provide enough freedom and space for those, who will continue scientific research projects. This swings waves and foams in the heart of some students’. In the recent years the domestic economy develops rapidly, the GNP is encroaching upon the United States and Germany; the domestic foreign exchange reserve has been much higher than Japan. The average standard of living in China is not lower than some industry countries. However, it is not easy to make a decision to give up all they have and to return home.
It has been said that: once the most correct decision is to go abroad; and the most regretful is going abroad, too. Since they have embarked upon this path of studying abroad that is full of thorns, it is very difficult to turn back, like a small boat flickering in the sea, even though the front is very slim, perhaps there will be stormy weather, but there is no other choice but to move forward. You can say that almost all the students’ life is not easy, in addition to language difficulties and examinations, they still have to work hard for survival. After finishing Studies they have to experience enormous difficulties to find an ideal job, as not all employers are willing to hiring foreigners. After having experienced all these, they got what they wanted: an happy family, a good job and a comfortable life, all these have not come easily. Their youth and love have left in the foreign country, to give up all of these, without a placid mind it is really difficult to take this step.
It is indeed difficult, but not impossible. Although I haven’t yet taken this step, I admire those who have abandoned all they have and return home resolutely. No matter what the purpose, the decision they made is admirable.
